Their genre-defining album, Slaughter of the Soul, is still, to this day, a staple in most metal media/fan album lists and a huge influence on waves of new extreme metal bands. Recently, the band released their seventh album, The Nightmare Of Being, an album which sees the band exploring a more experimental sound while retaining that familiar “Gothenburg” sound.
