The Suicide Machinesは、アメリカ・ミシガン州デトロイト出身のスカパンク／ハードコアパンクバンド。1991年に結成され、スカ、パンク、ハードコアを自在にミックスしたスタイルで人気を集めた。
1996年のデビューアルバム『Destruction by Definition』でメジャーデビューを果たし、「New Girl」などのシングルで注目される。その後も多数のアルバムをリリースしながら、2006年に一度解散。
しかし2009年に再結成し、2020年には14年ぶりとなるスタジオアルバム『Revolution Spring』をリリース。
社会的・政治的メッセージも強く、ライブでのエネルギッシュなパフォーマンスでも知られる。
Less Than JakeやFishboneなどとも共演多数。
