December is the time of year where venturing out to gigs is really only for the truly dedicated fans and this gloomy evening was no different with the expection that, even though most casual gig-goers had stayed home, the Kentish Town Forum was packed and buzzing with excitement for headliners Dayseeker. First up was UK synth/pop-rock project Heart of Gold who proved to be a worthy opener for this three-band bill. Trimming down to a seven song set, Heart of Gold kicked off with “Stranger (To Your Love)” and, by the time things wrapped up with “See Through” had made sure early arrivals to the Forum had had a worthwhile journey.
