Burntmill Ghosts Revisit History On New Album “Old Records”

New Jersey melodic punks Burntmill Ghosts have today released their new full length, Old Records, via SBÄM Records and Double Helix Records, the album’s title comes from the band’s tendency to write songs that serve as records of the past and celebrate stories from a bygone era. Many of the tracks on Old Records are based on historical events like the California Gold Rush, the Tulsa Massacre, Organized Crime and Indian Removal. Other tunes are influenced by literature, including Dante’s Divine Comedy, Edgar Alan Poe and Stephen King, and some are more personal, but they are all steeped in history.
