Country/folk sisters Ward Thomas are one of those acts that you can’t help but like and hit all age demographics judging by the mix of young and old as the duo arrives in York for the latest date on their UK tour. Supporting the sisters on this run is Mississippi actor/songwriter Charlie Worsham who, as with the headliners, makes it impossible not to enjoy their short set packed with the kind of country earworms that are loaded with an honest, heartfelt air and come linked with some equally heartwarming story or tale from the singer’s life.
