Rising Leeds-based indie-rock outfit The Utopiates have announced a brand new release in the form of “Illuminise”, lifted from the upcoming album due in 2023 through V2 Records. The band are quickly climbing the ranks of the indie scene recently being dubbed the band to watch in 2022 by cult indie promoter This Feeling. Having formed in January 2021 during the height of the pandemic, the band have just signed to V2 Records and, having moved out of frontman Dan Popplewell’s bedroom, The Utopiates have found a new base at the Nave Studios in Leeds with producer Andy Hawkins.
