Alexisonfire have announced details of their first album in 13 years, Otherness. The follow-up to 2009’s Old Crows / Young Cardinals, the record is due out on June 24 via Dine Alone, with lead single Sweet Dreams Of Otherness out now (listen below). “This song was largely Dallas’ brain child, but over the course of writing this record, it became more of a mission statement for the band,” explains George Pettit. “It’s kind of about performance and embracing a new found confidence in a state of peculiarity.” He adds of the album as a whole: “As much as we love playing the old songs, we don’t want to be a nostalgia act.
