You’d have to assume that, out of everyone in the rock world, Dave Grohl’s phonebook is probably one of the longest. It’s understandable, then, that when it came time for him to ring up a producer to work on Foo Fighters’ One By One album… well, he called the wrong guy. The hilarious mix-up was detailed in a new interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe (watch it below), with drummer Taylor Hawkins telling the story of the album’s creation and how Foos’ frontman “accidentally called the wrong Nick”.
