Weezer Perform Hero On The Tonight Show: At Home Edition

On top of his ace Island In The Zoom sessions in lockdown, Rivers Cuomo got together with his Weezer bandmates last night (June 17) to perform a truly lovely rendition of the geek-rock heroes’ latest single, Hero. Having already tackled the likes of Green Day’s Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) and Nirvana’s Heart-Shaped Box in a more stripped-back fashion, this time Rivers turned the spotlight on his own music, toning down the guitar-led sound on Hero (a direction that will also continue in the band’s upcoming Van Weezer album).
