We Can’t Help It If We’re From Florida, the classic hardcore punk compilation that put the Sunshine State on the international hardcore map in 1983, is being reissued for the first time in 41 years on limited edition expanded 10″ vinyl. Originally a 7″ EP, the reissue will feature a total of ten bonus tracks, many of them previously unheard, by each of the five bands on the initial release: Hated Youth (Tallahassee), Sector 4 (Tallahassee), Morbid Opera (Fort Lauderdale), Roach Motel (Gainesville) and Rat Cafeteria (Tampa). The reissue is a joint release by Destroy Records and Panhandle Punk Productions and includes a run of 500 black copies and 100 on Florida sunshine colored vinyl.
