Watch Scream pay homage to Gil Scott-Heron in video for “DC Special Sha La La” from upcoming LP

DC punk legends Scream are gearing up to release DC Special, their first album in 30 years, in just a couple weeks. They’ve just made a video for the album’s first single / opening track, “DC Special Sha La La,” which was shot and directed by Fugazi/Messthetics drummer Brendan Canty. The video pays homage to Gil Scott-Heron‘s “Washington D.C” by recreating some of the shots from that, and frontman Pete Stahl offers some commentary on his hometown as well.
