Taking their name from the title of the ground-breaking David Cronenberg horror film, Scanner created their own blend of punk, hard rock, and glam. Formed by Joe Brady (lead vocals/bass) and Junnie Fortney (guitar), later joined by Ray Hawkins on drums, Scanner’s influences encompass a wide range of styles, including the pioneers of 50s rock and roll, 60s hard rock and surf, and 70s glam and punk. Single “TV Light” appears on Scanner’s latest full-length album, 2020’s Horror Hits.
