Video Spotlight: Lords and Liars – ‘Killdozer’

The story of The Killdozer dates back to June 4, 2004, when Marvin John Heermeyer drove his tricked-out and heavily-armored Komatsu through the Granby, CO Town Hall. Though it was named The Killdozer, it didn’t hurt anybody—Heermeyer was simply destroying the infrastructure of a town that was ripping him off, becoming a folk hero to anybody who’d like to take a hammer to the system. North Carolina’s Lords and Liars are just one of the many outlets that have latched onto the story, and until now, the legend has not been immortalized in song.
