Video Premiere: The Small Calamities – ‘Stock Photography’

A whirlwind of punk rock angst, power-pop hooks, heartland sincerity, and Americana jangle, The Small Calamities started in 2015 as the brainchild of LA songwriter/producer Charlie Wolf. Their latest album, Moments of Impact, trades in their previous LP’s walls of synths for more intricate guitar work, lush harmonies, and soaring strings. New Noise are proud to premiere the video for the band’s latest single, “Stock Photography,” below: Wolf’s lyrics blend wry humor and Springsteen-esque imagery with naked earnestness.
