Rushing Spring is a poignant, relevant take on emotion-driven power pop from Danbury, CT. The band formed in September of 2018, when Austin Gold, a singer-songwriter and guitarist, met bassist Philip Madden through mutual friends. The boys recruited Kevin Debacher on drums, but after quickly realizing his talent, switched him to lead guitar. After practicing for months in Kevin’s basement, the band finally found a drummer in William Roberts. In 2019, the group recorded their first demo, “Just Don’t Say Hello,” and began playing gigs; culminating in the group playing local rock music festival Oddstock.
