As a young teenager living in Northern New Jersey, I grew up listening to punk and metal. I had gotten into some trouble with the law after I graduated High School and had decided to turn over a new leaf. As my life choices at the time almost landed me in jail, I knew I had to invest more in myself and occupy my time a bit better. With the love of the music and an abundance of music venues in the area, I began going to shows nonstop. I would even taking trips to NYC by myself to hit shows and The Pipeline in Newark, NJ became my new hangout. I made new friends in the scene fairly quickly and started my own band.
