The 2025 edition of the UK’s Outbreak Fest goes down in Manchester on June 14 & 13, and there’s also a one-day, multi-stage event in London on June 13 this year. They’ve just announced the initial lineup for the Manchester portion, which has plenty of great hardcore bands and also continues to branch out from the festival’s hardcore roots. The big-font names so far are current metallic hardcore leaders Knocked Loose, shoegaze legends Slowdive, and Alex G. Also on the lineup in a slightly bigger font are rappers Danny Brown and Denzel Curry and emo legends Sunny Day Real Estate, and the rest of the initial ’25 lineup includes Deafheaven, Drug Church, Feeble Little Horse, Fleshwater, Foxing, God’s Hate, Gouge Away, Have A Nice Life, Jesus Piece, julie,...
