Philadelphia-based thrashers Roadkiller have released a new album, Pick of The Litter, which is chock full of guest appearances from members of Obituary, CKY, Turbonegro, Ex Mortus, and Municipal Waste. As an introduction to the record, their choice cut to premiere is “Night Rider,” a track that cuts in the vein of the NWOBHM bands, which laid the early foundation and inspiration behind Roadkiller mastermind Phillipa Tank’s songwriting. Tank’s planning and producing of Pick of The Litter was a two-year endeavor as she was balancing her daily life and cross-country touring responsibilities with the Motorhead tribute group, Motorbabe.
