Portsmouth, UK based gothic punks Torpedoes have today released their fourth album, Heaven’s Light Our Guide, that is available through streaming platforms and on CD and vinyl here. Born across the lost years of Covid19, and the chaotic aftermath, the album sees principal songwriter Ray (Razor) Fagan (Red Letter Day) giving his take on the world we must all inhabit whether we like it or not. Heaven’s Light sees the band take their signature sound forward with an emphasis on keyboards, whilst retaining the spiky guitar driven edge that has served them so well in the past. Think Killing Joke, The Damned, Muse and The Cardiacs with a side helping of The Cure and you get close, ultimately however, they sound like Torpedoes.
