The California hardcore scene is producing many need to know bands, and the next to add to that list is the Oxnard-based Torena. Today the band announced their new EP, Evil Eyez, that is set for release on March 14th through DAZE Records. Produced and mixed by Taylor Young and mastered by Nick Townsend, the five songs on the EP sound as explosive as its artwork looks. Lead track Bleed, that is now streaming everywhere, finds Julien Urias throaty voice emphasized by fuller gang vocals before leading into an intense breakdown. The track itself is about questioning why you keep holding your emotions back, and how it can take a toll on a person.
