Several months on from taking “some time away as a group” following an onstage bust-up involving frontman Perry Farrell, three-quarters of Jane’s Addiction are working on new music together. The remaining members of the band – guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins and bassist Eric Avery – have gotten together with the apparent aim of putting something out this year (though under what guise, we don’t yet know – some fans are suggesting it could be for ’90s side-project Deconstruction, which featured Eric and Dave alongside drummer Michael Murphy).
