There’s Now An Alice In Chains And Alanis Morissette Mash-Up

Just as the Devil makes work for idle thumbs, so lockdown makes work for bored YouTube users who can do mashups. Thus, we now have Alanis In Chains, the coming together of Seattle grunge legends Alice In Chains and Canadian singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette, an idea we’re happy to tip our hat to the mere name of, without hearing a note of music. The fruit of this union, created by YouTube user ChrisH1986, is You Would Know, a bringing together of Would? from AIC’s essential 1992 Dirt album, and Alanis’ mega-hit You Oughtta Know, from her 1995 album Jagged Little Pill. Obviously, the idea’s name had to have come before work started on the music, but the results are superb.Check it out for yourself. Posted on April 15th 2020, 4:54pm
