It was a bustling Thursday night in Tulsa, Oklahoma, when The Used and Taking Back Sunday (TBS) brought their anticipated tour to the Tulsa Theater. Months leading up to this, all of the scene kids were eager with excitement for their heroes to take the stage and sing about relationships and heartbreak. These bands have been on people’s minds for 20 years, and it was the first time seeing them for some. For this stop, TBS opened up for The Used, which honestly didn’t feel like I’m an opener to me. TBS’s Adam Lazzara was in fantastic form. He sounded great and was dancing and swinging his mic like it was 2007.
