The Lawrence Arms Have Announced Their First Album In Six Years

The Lawrence Arms have announced Skeleton Coast – their first new album in six years. The follow-up to 2014’s Metropole is due out on July 17 via Epitaph Records, and despite being recorded before the coronavirus pandemic struck, it seemingly sees the band taking an apocalyptical view into the future… “For a band who has been around as long as us, this is about as urgent of a record as we could make,” says vocalist and bassist Brendan Kelly. “It may be kind of dark but it’s really about searching for light in the darkness and finding it, as small as those moments may seem.
