The Lawrence Arms announce first record in six years

A welcome tonic to life in lockdown, Chicago punks The Lawrence Arms have announced the release of their first record in six years. ‘Skeleton Coast’ – the band’s seventh LP – will be released on July 17 via Epitaph Records, and marks the first new material since 2014’s ‘Metropole’. Ahead of its release, fans can enjoy a preview with the single, ‘PTA’, which is out now. Recorded at Sonic Ranch Studios, a short drive from El Paso, Texas, with long-time producer Matt Allison, The Lawrence Arms deliver a prophetic album for these times. Despite being written and recorded prior to the Coronavirus pandemic, ‘Skeleton Coast’, paints an eerily prescient picture of a post-apocalyptic world.
