The Krown Jewelz Release Coronation Single “Scarp The Monarchy”

Today sees the release of The Krown Jewelz (the artists formerly known as The Kunts) Coronation protest song Scrap The Monarchy on their own boutique record label, Pegging Prince Records. Scrap The Monarchy is set to be the Essex punk band’s fifth consecutive top 40 single in various guises, each time without any big record, management or PR company pulling the strings. On Saturday 6th May The Krown Jewelz will join the anti-monarchy protests in London’s Trafalgar Square accompanied by a 9-foot Jimmy Savile mascot, according to the band, “just in case anyone has forgotten the King’s links to the UK’s most notorious paedophile, and by that we don’t mean his brother”.
