The Krown Jewels Announce “Scrap The Monarchy” Single

With one month to go until the coronation of King Charles III, The Krown Jewels (the artists formerly known as The Kunts) have announced a song for the occasion, Scrap The Monarchy, which will be released on the 5th May, the eve of the Coronation. Unlike their foul-mouthed back catalogue as The Kunts, The Krown Jewels have turned over a new leaf as Scrap The Monarchy contains no expletives, in order that it can be covered in the press, played on the radio and announced on the BBC Radio 1 chart rundown. The Krown Jewels are busy putting the finishing touches to the video which features the band in a dance routine dressed as guardsmen, heads on spikes and a King Charles lookalike with saveloys for fingers.
