The Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre held the first North American date for “The First Time Tour” from Australian singer and rapper The Kid Laroi. For the night of Saturday, May 18th, the arena, Located in UBC ground, was almost at capacity and fans were ready to sing along. The night started with R&B singer Chase Shakur from Atlanta. The Singer opened his set with his song “I Don’t Wanna Fall in Love… It’s Too Late Now,” from his first album, It’ll Be Fine. Chase delighted the crowd with his melodic voice while his DJ hyped up the crowd. Glaive was the second one to perform.
