The Hives are back! The band have just announced their first new album in over a decade. Entitled The Death Of Randy Fitzsimmons, their long-awaited new record – the follow-up to 2012’s Lex Hives – is due out on August 11 via Fuga, and is seemingly yet another super-fun release from the Swedish rock’n’rollers. “There’s no maturity or anything like that bullshit, because who the fuck wants mature rock’n’roll?” reasons frontman Howlin’ Pelle Almqvist. “That’s always where people go wrong, I feel. ‘It’s like rock’n’roll but adult,’ nobody wants that!
