The Hip Priests – Roden House Blues

The Hip Priests are simply a phenomenon, with in the region of 30 singles and 4 albums to back it up too.  Being a band that have played alongside the Hellacopters is praise enough in my book, but they don’t rest on that very high pedestal, it’s all onwards and upwards for this straight up Rock n Roll band. Where do we start with this album then, at the beginning of course, although it was tempting to start at the end and then get to the start with the need to start again of course.  I know I make things too complicated times, but my point is that this Roden House Blues Album is not that complicated so lets not make it such.  From songs that challenge sense of balance as they try to knock you off your feet, ‘Trojan Horseshit’ being a lively culprit, full attack mode Rock n R...
