The Fall were an Post Punk band, formed in Manchester, UK in 1976, the band existed in various forms until the death of its founder, and only constant member, Mark E. Smith in 2018. Initially associated with the punk movement of the late 1970s, the group’s music underwent several stylistic changes over the years, but is often characterised by an abrasive guitar-driven sound and frequent use of repetition. The Fall‘s 16th full length, Middle Class Revolt, was originally released in 1994 and is now set to get a six disc expanded reissue on the 27th June courtesy of Cherry Red Records.
