Iconic Manchester rock band The Creature Comfort today released their new single ‘Highway 7‘ in the lead up to release of their second album in Spring 2020. On this hook-laden Grinderman-meets-MC5 track the band are strapped aboard an unstoppable speed machine, ‘rushing through the hot night with fuel in our veins‘ while fear kicks in, monkeys fly, and each passing highway brings them ever closer to a fateful end. Complete with the band’s signature twin guitar attack and infectiously filthy vocals, this is a driving song for a lost generation. ‘Highway 7‘ is out now on their own Missing Door Records and the band are also playing a hometown show on Saturday 7th December at Night People which will be a double celebration for the end of the tour and the single release.
