The Boomtown Rats will mark 2020 (The Year Of The Rat) with the release of “Citizens Of Boomtown”, their first new studio album since 1984 and they have also announced a UK tour, and a book of lyrics and reminiscence by frontman Bob Geldof entitled ‘Tales Of Boomtown Glory‘. The new studio album will feature ten new tracks from The Boomtown Rats and will be released on March 13th, the album’s lead single ‘Trash Glam Baby‘ will be released on 10th January.
