Across the past 12 months, there have been hundreds of killer albums released. Some by returning, reliable heroes, others swinging comebacks, others – and most excitingly – new pups challenging the very balance of things. In the wake of COVID, it has been a true joy not just to have so much new music, but to know it’s being released into a world where it can breathe at gigs, with other people.
