Seattle, Washington-based Cambodian American artist Thavoron releases his new single/music video, “Body,” an ode to sensuality and magnetic attraction. Where his previous songs probed the trauma and challenges of physical relationships, “Body” signals a shift in perspective. Thavoron explains, “The inspiration for ‘Body’ was a sort of reclamation of my sexuality. I was starting to shift my mindset and realized the power you can hold or remove in sex and intimacy.” “Body” also sees Thavoron substituting throbbing electronic production as a replacement for his signature neo-folk sound.
