After debuting solo project Talking Kind with a single back in May, Spraynard and Big Nothing member Pat Graham has announced their first LP under the moniker. It Did Bring Me Down is due September 8 via Lauren Records (pre-order). “Everything I enjoy in life is funny,” Graham says. “Music is my sacred place so I was always afraid to be careless within that context. Given how I interact with the world outside of music, I don’t know why I waited so long to take myself a little less seriously in songwriting. There’s some dark stuff on this record, but it’s all looked at through a ‘hehe’ lens.
