Stepford Wives don’t do guitar solos, fancy clothes or ephemeral bull. They constantly strive to create thought-provoking, passionate, at times subversive lyrics and melody played with an aggressive sense of purpose. Drawing on influences from all genres and generations, they have developed a frantic live performance set that leaves an audience gasping for breath and shouting for more. The band have now released their latest single, So Paranoid, that is out now via digital platforms. So far this year Stepford Wives have appeared alongside the likes of Half Man Half Biscuit, Buzzcocks and The Undertones, they have now been confirmed to appear at Sheffield’s HRH Punk festival and will also be appearing alongside The Chameleons in December.
