Quebec’s Steel Bridges, Philippe Routhier‘s one man melodic punk band, have released their new single, Already Gone, through digital platforms, the track is is the first single from the upcoming full length, Under The Rug. The album refocuses on the skatepunk and melodic hardcore influences of the project by offering songs that further exploit the speed, beats and arrangements of the genre classics, without completely leaving the metal side of the initially instrumental project aside. “Already Gone” was written, composed and produced by myself in my home studio between 2020 and 2021. The 170 bpm song is inspired by the 90s California punk style, but has a modern twist and a metal bite.
