It must be quite daunting opening a show for someone of the stature of Sir Tom Jones, but it’s something that both Storry and the Germein Sisters do with aplomb. Canadian Storry opened with an operatic aria that showcased a beautiful voice that only got stronger throughout her set. With material that deals with her abusive past relationship it was quite an emotional set, and “Run” was a standout. With a tribute to Tina Turner thrown in and some incredible vocal acrobatics it was a perfect start to the evening that the crowd really enjoyed.
