DC hardcore / post-hardcore legends Scream began crowdfunding a new album in 2021, and now they’ve finally announced it. DC Special, the band’s first album in 30 years, comes out November 10 via Dischord. It was recorded by Don Zientara at his iconic Inner Ear studio just weeks before the studio was forced to shut down, and it features contributions from former drummer Dave Grohl, as well as Ian MacKaye, Brian Baker, Joe Lally, Mark Cisneros, John Goetchius (The Mighty Mighty Bosstones), and more.
