Following his other recent announcements, Rome has announced that he is also joining the Lawrence Welk band. As you likely know, the German-American Lawrence Welk passed away in 1992, so Rome will be stepping in to take his place in the "champagne music" big band. Rome and the band will be doing a mix of Sublime covers, and Sublime with Rome songs. Rome will even be taking Welk's place during the polka segments. Rome says "expect a reggae stylee of my favorite Welk tune, 'The Beer Barrel Polka!'".
