Formerly hailing from Seattle, Advertisement have regrouped in L.A. and released their new EP, Freedom, earlier this month, the focus around the track “Here It Comes (Freedom),” a reworked version of their previous song “Freedom.” The EP features the track, alongside two remixes, and an additional single, “Ladder of Love.” The guitars in “Here It Comes (Freedom)” immediately give DIIV-vibes, the vocal cry of “Freedom” giving a sort of post-punk, 80s essence. The track often pivots in another direction and keeps things interesting, never lingering in one spot for too long.
