Late last year, the Red Hot Chili Peppers confirmed that they were almost done recording a new album, and it sounds as though they’re (hopefully) getting ready to release it… The band have taken to social media to share 18 seconds of new material – and they’ve opted to preview the guitar side of things in this teaser clip, which makes sense given the new record features returning guitarist John Frusciante. “Look, John hasn’t been in our group in 10 years,” explained drummer Chad Smith in October 2021. “That’s a long time.
