After one EP and some singles to their name, Skate Punk band Reason To Leave from North West England are now ready to unleash a second EP on us. Rise And Grind is a six track blast that by the name itself gives you a clue as to what they love and are about. Does this EP really give me a reason to even consider grabbing a board and doing some kind of “heavy heel flip”, or should that just be a “bail”, the latter would be more in keeping to my age. Anyway this band have some very cool aspects of their music, but my own personal choice of Skate Punk is much more melodic, not to say I don’t like this EP, but not in a nailed down genre way, this is much more fluid in style, therefore I love it for what it is not what it might be.
