Canadian emo quintet Rarity have always pushed things to extremes, as evidenced by the band’s vicious single Shawnigan that was released this February. Now, the band are back with a new single titled Drown Me Out, accompanied by an unhinged music video. On Drown Me Out, Rarity climb an uphill slope in their existential journey, exploring death, nihilism, and all types of darkness, and growing increasingly agitated as they do so. The track reverberates with a haunting sense of volatility, interspersed with quiet moments and bursts of aggression.
