Princess Goes first met onstage over a decade ago while performing in the award-winning rock musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch. The band — composed of vocalist, lyricist, musician, and actor Michael C. Hall (Dexter, Six Feet Under, Lazarus), keyboardist Matt Katz-Bohen (Blondie, Cyndi Lauper), and drummer Peter Yanowitz (The Wallflowers, Morningwood) — had so much fun pretending to be in a band together that, when the show closed, they decided to start one for real.
Since then, the avant-indie supergroup has released an EP and two full-length albums, with a third full-length due later this year.
