In 2019, drummer Andy Sutor and guitarist Jean-Paul “JP” Jacyshyn started working on ideas for Peach. Their shared love of 90’s and early 2000’s desert rock, punk and grunge helped shape up their ideas, citing influences such as Queens Of The Stone Age, PJ Harvey and Eleven. Soon after recruiting Tim Cooke on baritone guitar, the initial song ideas started to take shape, but progress was inevitably stifled by the pandemic. Peach finally reached completion in the summer of 2021 with the addition of Ellie Godwin (No Violet) on vocals.
