A few weeks on from announcing their 10th album Yesterwynde, Nightwish have shared its epic lead single. Entitled Perfume Of The Timeless, the mammoth song clocks in at nearly nine minutes, with keyboardist and songwriter Tuomas Holopainen previously telling Kerrang! of their decision to go so big and ambitious: “When we had the first meeting with Nuclear Blast, talking about the new album and singles, I told them the first single will be a song called Perfume Of The Timeless, and it’s eight-and-a-half minutes long, and the chorus comes in at 3:30.
