News: Soccer Mommy Releases New Song, Music Video, ‘rom com 2004’

Soccer Mommy, or Nashville’s Sophie Allison, released her sophomore album color theory last year, met with numerous accolades and spots on end-of-year, best-of lists. Now, Soccer Mommy has a new one-off single for fans, titled, “rom com 2004.” Grammy-nomainted producer and songwriter BJ Burton (Charli XCX, Bon Iver, Chance The Rapper, Empress Of, Miley Cyrus) produced the track. Soccer Mommy says, “I wrote this song a while back and made a poppy demo for it. Then I told BJ to destroy it.” Soccer Mommy also recently announced her delayed headline tour in support of last year’s album.
