Metalcore veterans Scarlett O’Hara are back with a refreshed sound on their new single, “Obsessive.” After a break from tearing up the scene with the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, The Devil Wears Prada, and Asking Alexandria, Scarlett O’Hara return with a modernized take on their signature South Texas Metalcore that they’re calling “brodeo metalcore.” Obsessive”’s groovy, sing-along melodies are juxtaposed by the deeply self-aware and reflective lyrics. The band formed in 2008 and were a mainstay in the genre community for their 10-year reign, and now they’re charging back into the scene with a vengeance after honing their craft with Grammy-nominated producer Erik Ron in 2020.
